# Registry methodology

How Turkey Health Hub compiles, verifies and updates the facility registry — and what the registry does not claim.

## Sources
- Ministry of Health authorised-facility lists (last list: 5 October 2026): hospitals, medical centres, practices and other authorised facilities.
- HealthTürkiye registry (retrieved 5 November 2026): licence numbers, accreditations, languages and contact details.
- Facility declarations submitted through the claim flow, with evidence checked by the registry team.

## Matching

Records are normalised for Turkish characters and legal suffixes, then matched on city plus facility name; phone, address and licence number are secondary signals. Exact matches are accepted automatically; uncertain matches go to a human review queue. We prefer leaving a record unmatched over merging two different facilities.

## Verification states

| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| sb_and_ht | Appears in both the Ministry list and the HealthTürkiye registry. |
| sb_listed | Appears in the Ministry list; no matching HealthTürkiye record yet. |
| portal_listed | Appears in HealthTürkiye; no matching Ministry list record yet. |
| unverified | Information only; not verified against an official list. |

“Listed” means the facility appears in the cited official source on the stated date. It is not a Ministry endorsement, a quality rating, a ranking or medical advice.

## Freshness and corrections

Ministry lists are re-checked when a new list is published; HealthTürkiye data is refreshed daily where access is available. Every record shows its source and retrieval date. Corrections can be requested at data-compliance@turkeyhealthhub.com and verified corrections are applied within 72 hours.

## What we do not do
- We do not sell ranking positions or verification badges.
- We do not publish raw licensed datasets.
- We do not present a listing as a recommendation or a success guarantee.
- We do not provide diagnosis or treatment advice.
